How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Apex Laboratory, Inc. is unique from other clinical laboratories, because we solely provide at home lab services to our patients. We specialize in the extended care community.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have 3 offices, one in Elmsford, NY, one in Florida and our main location, Farmingdale, NY.
Provide detailed directions to your location
From the Southern State Parkway: Take exit 35 towards Pinelawn/Melville/Wellwood Avenue, drive about 2.2 miles on Wellwood Avenue and make a left onto Central Avenue. The destination is on your right about 1/2 a mile down.
What type of payments do you accept?
As long as the doctor who is ordering laboratory testing for the patient deems that the patient is homebound and we accept the patients insurance, there is no charge to them. If the patient is not homebound, we charge a $25 fee for the housecall and we will bill their insurance company for the testing services. Currently, Apex provides home laboratory services to Suffolk County, Nassau County, all five boroughs, Westchester County & Putnam County.
What are your hours of operation?
Apex Laboratory provides home laboratory services to patients Monday-Friday. Our lab is open Monday-Friday from 8am-10pm and Saturday from 9am-3pm.
