37 years (we're the longest running comics shop on Long Island by far!)

Retailing old and new comic books & comics-related magazines, graphic novels, trade paperbacks
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have been collecting comics since before Kindergarten
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We specialize in rare back issues, and we have a free subscription (pull & hold) service in which we hold the new issues every week for our customers to pick up at their convenience; we can also order back issues and appraise rare comic books
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location, but we do mail order. See our ebay store under "licomics".

1 mile south of Sunrise Hwy (Rt. 27) on Little East Neck Road (Rt. 109); we are located next to a Friendly's restaurant, South Bay Auto Collision, Jumpin' Jack's Stereo and the landmark Salvation Army building. Our new location used to be occupied by a baseball card store called "109 Collectibles" for many years.

That our store is a "true" 100% comic book store; we don't host Magic card tournaments, costume contests, nor do we sell cards or hats or toys
