SS Jewels has been in business 30 years.
What is your primary product or service?
We buy gold,diamonds, silver, coins and all forms of precious metals and gemstones, along with watches.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I started working in a jewelry store when I was a teenager and just went from there.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
SS Jewels is known as the "Honest Jeweler". We tell you what your jewelry is worth, not ask you how much you want for it. We are not trying to trap our customers. If you ask, most people have no idea what there jewelry is worth, it is not their job to know it is ours. If they quote a high price most places say they aren't interested, however half the time people will quote a very low amount and that gold buyer wins. We will quote what the current market value of your jewelry is and pay you based on that.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Just 1. I can only be in 1 place at a time.
