How long have you been in business?
Associated Plastic Surgeons is one of the oldest plastic surgical groups on Long Island and has been around since 1982.
What is your primary product or service?
Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As a young child, I saw what certain children have been through born with facial deformities such as a cleft lip. I always enjoyed the challenge associated with restoring "normal" to children born with such defects and as such, I headed the Cleft and Craniofacial Team at Stonybrook for over 22 years. Operating on these children has been a lifelong passion of mine and it has helped greatly in my cosmetic surgical practice.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Most plastic surgery performed today is quite good. However, people still think of the tight windswept look when they think about plastic surgery, or the upturned nose or the breast augmentation that looks fake. I strive to achieve the natural look. To me the greatest compliment that someone can give me after a cosmetic surgical procedure is that their friends and family tell them there is something different about them, but they just can't pin point what "that" is.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have a state of the art office, equipped with a full service Medi-Spa and operating room in Huntington, New York. Our office is conveniently located close to all of the major highways.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept all forms of payments. We have relationships with many banks who are able to offer low cost financing to our patients.
